Cowboy Easy - Stormy Glenn I really liked this one and thought it was a good start to a new series.

Asa and Lachlan (love that name!) meet when Lachlan saves Asa from being beaten up by a couple of bigoted brothers. It's instant attraction that goes from a one night stand to something more serious as they both develop feelings for each other. Between the town bully, a barn fire and a stupid promise, it's just about insta-love for the two.

I liked Asa. The background details made him more interesting to me. How he has no family, or job, or place to live because his family kicked him out for being gay and his life basically revolved around his family was heartbreaking just to read about. I loved Lachlan. Even though Lachlan is depicted as the bigger man, more dominating, I felt that he was more a submissive then Asa was. Still, I really liked him.

The storyline was interesting. It kept my attention most of the book. I loved the Blaecleah brothers. I wished there was more scenes about, and with, them but the ones that were there were pretty funny to me. I loved how Lachlan's parents were simply known as Ma and Da. Lol*shrugs*

I was left with some questions, though. What is Asa going to do now? He doesn't have a job, he's not a rancher, and doesn't want to be a kept man, so what will he do now? There was just a tad too much sex for my taste but others won't think so. I also thought the ending was both dragged and was rushed, if that makes sense. I mean, Asa promises God not to be gay if only Lachlan will wake up after being hurt but it seemed like after Lachlan's Da tells Asa how stupid that promise was, all of a sudden Asa and Lachlan need to be married. The ending was rushed but the way it described felt as if it dragged..

Overall, if you like Stormy Glenn's books, you'll probably like this one. It was a good book and I'm definitely eager to read the next one in the series about Rourke and Billy.
