All She Wrote - Josh Lanyon I enjoyed this book, I really did, it just took me a while to get into it. More specifically, it was a little more than a quarter in when I was finally pulled into the book. After that, I didn't want to put it down.

I love Kit and J.X. We get to see more of what their relationship is becoming and Kit's insecurity that J.X. may one day leave him for someone younger like his ex did. But, J.X., imo, makes it quite clear that he doesn't have eyes for anyone else besides Kit. Which I liked because I hate it when I fall in love with a character and they do a douche-y move like cheat on the other character I love. no-no-no So, I'm glad J.X. isn't going to do anything like that (he better not!)

Kit and J.X. fit very well together. J.X. knows the exact moment to back off when Kit needs him too and he knows the exact moment when Kit needs him to be a little more touchy. Which was cute. Lol. Plus, this one definitely has steamier sex scenes than the previous book. :D

Anyway, the mystery was good. I was riveted with it wondering who the killer was and having almost all my answers nixed because I had them wrong. However, I did figure out who the killer was before Kit did. By only a few pages, but I still figured it out!! *clears throat* Of course, B helped me cement my theory since we kept talking about it ^_^

I do have one question. Why does J.X. called Christopher Kit? I don't remember reading about it in Somebody Killed His Editor and I'm itching to know why J.X. calls him that. Lol

All in all, a good book. I give it a 4.5 rating only because it took so long for me to get hooked on the story but if you liked the first in the Holmes and Moriarity series then you'll like this one as well. Recommended. thumbs-up-1
