A Gentleman's Agreement (Evergreen) - J. Roman I actually really enjoyed this story. I found it very interesting and slightly funny that Thomas's deceased brother, Edmund, concocted a plan to make Thomas happy. It was actually pretty clever and I liked the fact that Henry and Henry's sister went along with it. Even better that Thomas and Henry hit it off so well!

I started losing interest about half way through, though. When the conflict came into play and Thomas's ex-lover created a cliche problem, I found it slightly annoying. Also, I didn't much appreciate the twist within the story. I would have but I didn't appreciate the way it was handled. I felt like it was too much for the book. I will say the story ended rather sweet and I did really enjoy that.
