I thought this was a great start to a new series. It's a short, shallow read, perfect if you don't want to have to think much while reading it. Adrian is the kind of character I love. Small and adorable but definitely not fragile and can easily hurt a man bigger than himself without any effort. Talan's possessiveness towards the little wolf was extremely hot and between the two, I was left laughing a few times.
I was a little disappointed with the fighting scene. It was over too quickly, in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen it drawn out a little longer than just a few paragraphs especially since it was made perfectly clear multiple times how much Olson hated Adrian and wanted to kill him.
Amber fans will definitely like this book, I know I do and I can't wait for the next one in the series. :D
