I think this was probably the best book out of the series, yet. Then again, they are all amazing books so it'd be hard to tell. But I adored this story. We get to delve deeper into not only figuring out Mercy's Native American heritage but also into Mercy and Adam's relationship. And I found both so fascinating! I love getting to know new cultures so it was a definite treat to learn about Mercy's.
Mercy is still the kick ass heroine and I love her to death. It was awesome seeing her discover and try to fight such a big opponent because there was a lot of suspense! Adam is still uber hot and I love his need to protect her. It's so cute and gives me the warm and fuzzies every time.
I wished there had been more of the pack in the story and some more of Stefan. I love everyone in the Mercy Thompson world but I really do miss those pack members and Stefan! We got a little taste of Stefan that I gobbled up, though, so it wasn't so bad.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I can't wait to see what type of situation Mercy gets into next!
